Brandon Maxwell revealed his latest collection for Spring/Summer 2021, and let me just say it is FIERCE. Sexy cutout dresses, silk moiré faille fabrics, and bold colors have always been part of Brandon Maxwell’s signature style, but I’m even more grateful for it after the year we’ve had! We may be in lockdown again and stuck at home, but that doesn’t mean we have to settle for grungy sweatpants and knit cardigans! Brandon Maxwell’s latest creations feature luxe pleated sweatpant pants with matching suit jackets, a sporty shirt dress with a ballgown skirt, and envy-worth sheer pleated skirts in fun colors!
Speaking about his pieces, Brandon said, “The collection reflects the emotional and creative journey my team and I have been on during this time. It’s a representation of our path from dark to light. We are grateful to be joining you now with a renewed purpose and reality. I truly hope you can feel that in our final product and show…It was an experience that was nostalgically reflective of past shows yet optimistically indicative of our future…After months of wondering where our current path would take me, I knew I was exactly where I was supposed to be.”
