Helen Lee is a Chinese fashion designer, based in Shanghai China. Her designs impersonate an urban Shanghai woman that is strong, independent, adventurous, and feminine. Every season there are new bold, sophisticated, and stylish fabrics and prints developed. Helen Lee’s open-mind and curious nature are represented in her creative works of art.
Helen Lee’s Fall/Winter 2016 collection was featured at Style Fashion Week at the Pacific Design Center last Saturday. Her show was the last, but definitely not the least of the day. Lee used colorful prints/patterns, fur, over-sized sleeves, trench-coats and Chinese-cultural influences in her pieces. I liked how she had a variation in her collection and how there were many different themes presented. This show was beautifully done and I would buy every single piece of I could!
