Emilia Wickstead’s Art Deco LFW Runway

Emilia Wickstead is the go-to designer for English socialites, royalty and fashion Icons alike. A favorite of Megan Markle, Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton as well as celebs like Gwyneth Paltrow and Poppy Delevigne, New Zealand designer Wickstead’s eye for detail and pieces tailored to perfection have always allowed her to stand out against other designers. Her most recent collection during London Fashion Week on Sunday at London’s Royal Academy of Arts was in praise of and inspired by legendary Oscar-winning set decorator and art director Cedric Gibbons’s work in Gaslight and The Women. Featuring a 44 piece collection with sharp column-style silhouettes in pops of color, metallic fabrics and even a  lace hat, Wickstead has proved once again that she hasn’t lost her edge, but instead proven that her excellent tailoring, quality fabrics and unique colors can make any woman look fantastic.
