Looks like there’s a new Lip Kit in town that literally outshines Kylie Jenner’s lippy set – and we are excited to welcome it! So we politely ask that she step aside and make room for Pat McGrath’s Lust 004. Known for experimenting with textures and finishes, McGrath announced her latest release of must haves on Thursday, and all artist have unanimously united to say, YES! #makeupgoals
McGrath will be releasing 3 colors: Flesh, Vermillion Venom, and Bloodwine…but the sets come with a handful of goodies! 2 matte lipsticks, a vinyl gloss, a metallic gold pigment and a micro fine glitter pot – not bad for $60, or $150 for all 3. Best of all is the items are intended to be worn alone or layered for a customizable degree of brilliance.
And if you feel the colors appear familiar to you, it’s because you probably remember them featured in the Atelier Versace fall couture show along with several weeks of teasing through Instagram! And just like you saw on the runway, this lip kit will make your lips sparkle like a pair of ruby red slippers (Dorothy much?) – but this sparkle is one that wont make you wish you were home.
The only set back, other than it’ll be virtually impossible to get your hands on, is that it wont work well with anyone who wants to speak, eat, drink, or need to rub your lips together for any reason – not that it’ll matter as why would anything this fabulous be practical? More importantly, why would we care?
