Take this mixture and apply it on your face. Allow it to dry for 15-20 minutes. With lukewarm water, rinse your face and clean it with a dry towel. You will see that your face feels soft and looks brighter. The lemon juice present in the mixture assists in lightening dark spots and fading scars.

2) Avocado, Oatmeal and Honey Mask

To prepare this face mask, you need ½ an avocado, 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, ¼ cup of uncooked oatmeal, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and two tablespoons of honey. Now you need to mash the avocado and mix the rest of the ingredients together. You can integrate this beauty mask into your summer beauty regimen by applying it once or twice a week.

3) Natural Chocolate Face Mask

A perfect addition to a home spa night is the chocolate face mask. It not only smells divine but is ideal for reviving tired skin. The honey and cream present in the face mask help in restoring moisture to parched skin. It also contains oatmeal which gets rid of dead skin.

The ingredients for making this face mask are 1/3 cup of cocoa, 1/4 cup of honey, 2 tablespoons of heavy cream, and 3-4 tablespoons of oatmeal powder. Mix all the ingredients to form a paste.

Refrigerate this for 10-15 minutes until the mask becomes cool to touch. Apply it on your clean skin and leave for 15 min. Wash it off with water and follow up with a good moisturizer.

4) Grapefruit Facial Mask

Citrus fruits are well-known for their bleaching properties, and they work quite well in conjunction with collagen. The proteins present in egg whites assist in hyper-pigmentation and fading acne scars. Also, the addition of oatmeal and raw honey moisturizes and exfoliates the skin leading to a clearer complexion.

The ingredients for this grapefruit facial mask are one tablespoon of raw honey, one beaten egg white, 1/2 cup of oatmeal, and the juice of 1/2 a grapefruit. Take a large bowl, and whip the egg whites until they become frothy. Then in another bowl, mix the honey, grapefruit juice, and oatmeal. Add this grapefruit mixture to the egg white and mix it until it becomes a paste. Apply this paste to your clean skin and leave on for 15-20 minutes.

5) Almond Face Mask

This is an effective face mask that helps in giving glowing skin and removing blemishes. For making this face mask, you need milk and 3-4 almonds. Soak the almonds in the milk for a day. Then mash them with some more milk, to get a paste. Apply this paste on your face and leave it for a whole night. In the morning, rinse you face with cold water. This face mask will make your skin glow.
