Luckily for Pavlina Popovska and Nenad Nikolovski, they got to achieve their dream. Both Pavlina and Nenad origninally from Macedonia now residing in L.A definitely made some magic. Check it out below:
That is some magic right? I got to chat to the talent behind and in these gorgeous images. First the very talented Pavlina, who is the photographer:
Tell us about yourself?
I am a photographer and fashion designer, originally from Macedonia. My first love was painting and fashion design. I did my undergraduate in fashion design in the Macedonian campus of the Italian school Accademia Italiana. After 3 years working in the fashion industry I got the opportunity to study photography in the US. Until then, photography was a hobby of mine and I saw an opportunity to combine this two fields in my professional future. I graduated Master of Fine arts in Photography in New York Film Academy in Burbank.
When and Why did you move to L.A?
It was two and a half years ago when I moved to LA to pursue a degree in photography.
What kind of impact do you hope to make in the fashion world in the next 10 years?
I want to be able to tell my story and people (I have met) stories through combining this two fields: photography and fashion design. I am working towards a style or unique fashion photography where I am using fantasy and color to tell a story.
What does fashion mean to you?
A lot. As a teenager fashion became a way to express my creativity and feel different. After that, it became my profession and my passion. For me, fashion is an art and a time reference.
If you could photograph anyone, anywhere in the world who and where would it be?
I am thankful enough to just continue to enjoy photographing anywhere in the world. Beeing able to do what I want is amazing and I get easily inspired by small things in everyday life. I always succeed to find a new person next to me who intrigues me and want to tell a story together with me.

Tell us about yourself?
I am Nenad Nikolovski from Macedonia, an actor and film producer. My acting career started when I was 4 years old at my uncle’s restaurant where I was trying to do stand-up comedy. Reading books and watching movies kept my motivation to do what I love in life and that’s art.
When and Why did you move to L.A?
I moved to LA in January 2014. I came here to do my MFA in Acting at New York Film Academy – Los Angeles Campus.
Acting was always my passion. I love doing both Film and Theater. I am happy to say that the movie we shot recently “The Witness” got selected as a semi-finalist on New York State International Film Festival. I also have the honor to perform this September at “The Actors Studio” where Ellen Burstyn, Harvey Keitel, & Al Pacino serve as co-Presidents.
Do you eat nutritiously and how often do you exercise or go to the gym?
I eat nutritiously as much as I can every day and of course as an actor in LA I was going to the gym every day but now I have changed the way of exercising and now I do a lot of park exercises: bodyweights-push ups, pull ups, dips, running and also I do hike often in Griffith Park.
Who are your favourite designers?
My favourite designers are Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, Tom Ford and Giorgio Armani. I like their style and their clothes always feels good on me.
When did you know you wanted to be a model?
As an actor, I have always been passionate about expressing truthful emotions in imaginary circumstances. Modelling has become an outlet to do the same. A picture is a picture, but when the model is emotionally charged, the results are fantastic. I love being able to express myself, and in doing so, help photographers/designers translate their own artistic desires to an audience. The beautiful thing about art is its collaborative nature. I have met so many amazing people through my modelling and acting and love to be part of it. Telling stories to an audience and moving them. I became a model at the same time when I became an actor. My agent Pierre Patrick at The Jerry Pace Agency thinks that it’s a good combination.
