Mexican designer Coral Castillo presented her “Glorious” collection on the Style Fashion Week runway at The Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood. Inspired by Nike the Greek Goddess of Victory, Coral dreamt of a collection that would portray a strong, fearless woman who is also feminine and elegant. A mix of silk organza, chiffon, crochet and lace brought the fluidity and graceful movement that she visualized when picturing her muse. Mostly black, intricate pieces made up the collection with detailed straps and fringe that channeled a warrior-esque look. The balance of strength and glamour make these dresses ideal for the edgy, chic girl.
