Kate Spade New York showcased their 2016 F/W collection on February 12th, 2016 at New York Fashion Week. This season, creative director Deborah Lloyd created classic looks, while still staying true to the quirky and unique clothing/accessories Kate Spade is known for. Darker colors were seen throughout, but most looks had a pop of color which helped to add that special touch. But, don’t you dare for a second think that Kate Spade didn’t showcase some very strikingly bold colored clothing in this collection. Feminine pastels were also a common trend, as well as daring head accessories, distinct collars, edgy leather, classy fur, and bold tweed. It was also especially unique that Kate Spade juxtaposed the clichéd stereotype that floral is just purely for fall, by including many looks that are vibrantly floral. It is safe to say that Kate Spade is embracing the current Floral for Fall trend with arms wide open! And one thing is for sure, Kate Spade is not afraid to take a risk. After all, the Kate Spade gal is always: “Quick, curious, playful, and strong.”
