Its been only ten years and the fashionable twins, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen are ready to launch a footwear collection for their ready-to-wear brand–The Row. The twins have collaborated with many top footwear designers. Ashley Olsen told Footwear News during an interview, “We have worked with Christian Louboutin, Manolo Blahnik, Barbara Shaum and Enzo Bonafè, among a few others;” and “we wanted to approach footwear organically and have a better understanding of the market before launching an in-house shoe collection.” This collection will be featured in their pre-fall collection (in stores in May).
After an interview with Footwear news Mary Kate Olsen exclaimed “Footwear was the natural next category for The Row. We want to provide our customers with all her essentials. We hope The Row shoe collection will do that.” This new footwear line consists of seven different styles with prices ranging from $850-$1350 [excluding exotics].
